Core System Renewal Project for a Major Manufacturer / SAP MM Module Senior Consultant / Willing to Travel / Remote Work Negotiable / Immediate Start / Osaka City

Job Description:
This is a core system renewal project that saw its initial launch in January last year.
It is in a phase of deployment to various factories in three stages until 2027, and the current process involves comprehensive testing simultaneously at three locations.
Other vendors are responsible for migration and development, while our client's work involves UAT, handling inquiries during production, and problem solving.
Specifically for inquiry handling, this includes investigation and response to inquiries, initial triage of whether a GAP is a bug or an improvement, and if temporary measures are required, discussing/coordinating temporary solutions with users/system administrators.
Problem solving involves discussing business issues with users.
Work Location: We would like you to come to the client's Osaka head office (Kitashinchi) as much as possible, but remote work is also negotiable.
However, on-site presence is required during the following periods:
1. For team building after project commencement, a certain period of business trips to Osaka (duration and frequency negotiable).
2. From around November 2024, intermittent business trips to Utsunomiya for UAT and preparation, approximately two days a week (not every week).
3. From around September 2025 until December 2025, continuous on-site presence in Utsunomiya for go-live and hypercare.
